Week 103 - ¡Viva la Misión México Cuernavaca!

This week, I wish it could have been better, but God knows his plan for each and every one of us.

Pizza after AP Divisions
The hardest part of this week was that Samantha, who was going to get baptized this Saturday, is moving to the U.S. on Thursday, so we will not have the opportunity to baptize her here in Galeana like we had planned. We were pretty dissappointed, because we've done so much to help her out and help her get closer to her Father in Heaven. But, we know that, no matter what church building you get baptized in, you make the same covenant with God to follow Him, and actively use His atonement. I'm just glad we could help her with that, even though the fruits of our work won't be seen by us. I'm glad to be a missionary either way. The work is just as gratifying.
 Xochicalco!

Wednesday, we went on divisions with the AP's, and I got to go with Elder Maxwell! We both are finishing up this week and we taught some KILLER lessons together. I really look up to that guy, and his example has taught me a lot. President called us halfway through our divisions to ask us if we were really working or just partying it up because we're almost out. We assured him we were working with all our might.

Thursday was a conference with Elder Valenzuela. It was super powerful. It was pretty obvious that he has tried his whole life to be a faithful servant of God. He gave us lots of tips and answered lots of questions. I've officially recieved a visit from every member of the area presidency while being here in Mexico.

 Xochicalco!
Today, after 2 years of waiting, I finally got to go to Xochicalco. It's about 20 minutes from my first area. I could see our old house from the ruins. Whatever. I did get to go eventually.

Now this might be the last time I talk to you guys through email, as I come home on October 2nd. A mission is hardest thing I've ever done in my whole life, but also the most rewarding. Every day forces you to turn to God and realize that there's no other way. If I had to say it short, the missionhas taught me how to know that God exists and continues speaking with the world. That isn't something I just believe or hope, or even just something pleasing to the ear, but it's something that I without a doubt know. I'm grateful for these last two years or so that I've had to help others to learn the same.
My current area: Zacatepec

I'm coming home sometime in the afternoon! Can't wait to see family and friends and start this next chapter of my life! Well this may be my final goodbye, if so I wish you all the very best and can't wait to share my experiences with you all in person.

Week 102 - ¡Viva México!

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!

Independence Day parade in Zaca
NO but really, happy Mexican Independence Day! Today we went to the parade in Zacatepec centro and it was cool.

Zacatepec only has about 30,000 people in it, and I think there were maybe 8 or 9,000 people there at the parade. It wasn't anything special. Every school marches all their student body in front of the whole town. Here, there isn't marching band, but they have "a banda de guerra" which is snare drums, triples, sometimes a bass drum, and bugles. The cool thing is how they carry the flag around in every display.

Week 101 - Everything Fell

September 9, 2019

This week could have been better. Especially yesterday.

We went on divisions with Puente de Ixtla, and it was pretty cool. I got to go with Elder Sanchez from Sonora. He only has 9 weeks in the mission, so he's pretty new, but he teaches pretty well. We couldn't do a ton, because all the appointments fell through.

The rest of the week was like that day.

On Sunday, we had nine people lined up to come to church, and at the end of the services, we had zero that had come. It was pretty devastating. Also, not a single one of our appointments happened either. Everything fell. Everything.

But it's ok. We asked for a miracle, and we got one. Even though it was the only person in the entire day who listened to us, it was a little miracle in it's own way. I'm just hoping that it's the last day we have like that.

See you guys soon!

Week 100 - Galeana, Zacatepec, Xoxocotla and so on

September 2, 2019

So we've been doing a lot of traveling between towns this week. All of those are towns in my area.

Elder Maxwell and I at our last multi-zone

This tuesday was our Multizone, my last multizone, and it was really good. I'm really going to miss all of the missionaries I've met here. We got a lot of good pictures before I left. Sadly, it's a two hour bus ride from my area to the stake center in CIVAC where we had the meeting. Needless to say, we did nothing else that day.

wednesday we did a baptismal interview in Jojutla, in Tlaquiltenango. He seemed super ready to get batpized, but this saturday was his baptism and he didn't go. I hope that guys can get his stuff together.

Week 99 - Triple Overtime

Hey!

This week was pretty cool. We hit the ground running this week by doin everything we could think of, and we finished up the week with a whopping 16 new people to teach. (Granted, accepting baptism is a completely different thing.) I've been giving it my all right now, and I'm doing my best to not distract myself...

Week 98 - Last Change

Elder Calixto (my trainee's trainee), Elder Zetten
(My other Trainee) and Elder Fullmer (his trainee) all at
Consejo. Elder Fullmer lives in West Jordan
and went to Copper Hills
August 18, 2019

So we found out on Friday that Elder Cruz and I are gonna be staying together for my last change, and we're going to stay in Galeana. Consejo was really good. The mission is making lots of really awesome changes right now. I also found out that I'll be doubling District/Zone leader this transfer. That'll sure be a blast, but I'll have to relearn how to be a DL because it's been 10 months since I've done it and there have been lots of changes recently.

Week 97 - Divisions, Teques, and BBQ sandwiches

August 5, 2019

This week was really fun!
Divisions w/ Elder Waldron, who was in my MTC group

On Wednesday, we went on divisions with the Elders in Tlatenchi, and I went with Elder Waldron, from my MTC district. We got donuts for breakfast.

We also went to eat in a part of the area called "el lago de Tequesquitengo" or "teques" for short. It's a super cool little lake that has a bunch of hotels and stuff. It's really touristy, and the family that gives us food there is really awesome. They're super strong in the gospel, and make up about one-fourth of our active members.

Starting the morning right
The rest of the week seems like kind of a blur, but I remember that we're going to have a baptism this week for Benjamin. He's been coming to church pretty consistently, but this week he told us he wanted  to get baptized. We're really excited for him!

American food for Elder Cruz
Today for P-day, we wanted to treat Elder Cruz to and American lunch, so Elder King and I went to the grocerey store and bought a ton of sandwich stuff. We made bbq turkey sandwiches with Jalapeño chips, and an apple soda. Good stuff.

Week 96 - Pa'l Calorón

July 29, 2019

It has been getting pretty hot this week.

It was pretty eventful. My camera was getting repaired and it took some time to get it good again, so I couldn't get many pictures from this week.

Tuesday we went to Tequesquitengo, which is a really touristy lake in our area. It was really pretty there, but even going 15 away from zacatepec, the humidity was sufficiently higher. It seems like a cool place to visit, but a really difficult place to work in.

Thursday we went on Divisions with the Elders In Puente de Ixtla, and I got to go with Elder Zweifel from Idaho. It was so hot there it burned me through my shirt. That same night, we went up from Puente to Cuernavaca to have an urgent meeting with president about leadership and what we need to do as district and zone leaders. Everyone in the three Morelos Zones came, and we stayed the night up there in Cuerna.

We had divisions the day before with Elder Riley, who is now the Assistant to the President. Two transfers ago we were both is Chilpancingo, but I was his zone leader, and he was a district leader. I always felt like he taught me more than I could teach him. He's making some really good progress and is just a stellar missionary.

We got a few people with baptismal dates this week, but none of them came to church, so we'll have to start over again getting them witha  baptismal date. That has been one of the most frustrating parts of being a missionary here is getting people to church. I hope we can do a little better in that aspect this week.

It was good to call you guys on Wednesday for Dad's birthday. Hope you had a good 24th!

Sorry for no pictures again. Computers here are not condusive to a picture-sharing environment.

Week 95 - T Minus 10 Weeks

This week was pretty cool. I had a lot of really good spiritual experiences. Sadly, I also got a virus last week, and my card is getting cleaned, so today I won't have many pictures either.

This week we went on divisions with the assistants, and I went for my 3rd time to Palmas to go work there. Elder Riley and I had a pretty normal day, but we were able to talk to a TON of people. Elder Riley was a district Leader two tranfers ago, and I was his Zone Leader. I always felt like had had more to teach me than I did for him. Now He's the Assistant to the President and is already helping out this mission a TON. I love how excited he is to work and show God his willingness to serve.

Friday would have been my last MultiZone Conference, but since I extended I (thankfully) have one more before I go home. Some of the other missionaries in my Generation went up to bear their testimonies because they'll be going home on the 21st of august. I'm pretty relieved I'm not headed out yet. We learned a bunch of rules that president says to follow so we can be successful missionaries. I'm really jealous of the new guys and how they get to have Pres. Treviño their entire missions.

Saturday we had Leonor's Baptism. It was super cool, and a lot of members showed up. She really has been feeling the spirit strong in her life since, too. She's been continuously happy.
It was also Elder Cruz's Birthday so we celebrated with a little cake and a 3L pepsi.

It's going good out here in Zacatepec/Galeana. We're going to be baptizing pretty constantly here. I hope that we're able to do everything that God has asked of us for these last few months. see y'all next week!

Week 94 - Week One in Zapatepec

This week was real cool. In Galeana, we live with two other missionaries, and it's been super fun. The four of us get along really well.

My companion and I, Elder Cruz from Hidalgo, México, worked super hard this week. I got to go visit members and meet the Ward. The Ward is honestly pretty small, but we're gonna work hard anyways. I'm really excited to see where we can go in these last twelve weeks of my misión, and to start baptizing every week!

We should have a baptism next week, too!

This week we found a guy named David. He's a musician and he really seemed interested in what we had to share. He said he could really feel the "good energy" that we bring as missionaries. He said wthat he was honored to recieve a book of mormon, and that he'd read it, and get baptized if he knew it was true. He didn't make it to church, but he told us he'd make it next week.

Sorry, I can't upload pictures this week. My computer has a virus, and is really slow.

Have a good week!
~Elder Scott

Week 93 - My Wheels Melted

July 8, 2019

So, this week was super cool. We had divisions with the Assistants and got some crepes on Wednesday. On Friday, we had consejo de Liderazgo and They announced the changes. Elder Bradshaw got changes for Pinotepa Nacional in Oaxaca. I also got changes, but to Morelos.

My area is called Galeana and my new companion is named Elder Cruz, from Hidalgo, México. While we were bringing my bags here from the bus station, we had to walk a little to get to our house, and my bags had been sitting under a hot bus for an hour already. Here is Galeana, it gets pretty hot. By the time we got back to our house, some of the wheels on my suitcases had melted. Good thing those suckers don't need to last me that much longer.

I'm pretty sad to be leaving Guerrero. It was a super good ward, and I loved the members there. They were also pretty sad. But, the two missionaries that are going there are some of the best misssionaries I know, (Elder Gillins and Elder Lynch) At least I know the area is in good hands.

Gabino got baptized on Saturday. He's super excited to be a member of the church, and he wants to share the gospel with everyone he meets. He's super excited to share the gospel with his family. He even had some family members come to church on Sunday!

We had some really great times here, and lots of little miracles. But I'm excited to see what galeana has in store for me!

Week 92 - Divisions and Crêpes

Divisions with Elder Fernandez
So this week was pretty solid. We had divisions with two different sets of Elders. I went with Elder Fernández from Chile on Wednesday, and Elder Vargas from Cancún on Friday. It was super cool because both of them have only a few months in the mission, but I was super inpressed at their desire to work and do everything that the Father has asked of them. Honestly, I learned a ton from each of them. Every new generation that comes to this mission just blows me away with how prepared and ready they all are.

Divisions with Elder Vargas
We have some members that own a little Crepe shop. They always get mad at us because we don't go enough, so we decided to make it a little tradition to go for some crepes and milkshakes after we finished divisions. It's a really cool way to show the missionaries in our zone that we appreciate the hard work they put in here in the zone. We wanted to reward them for a job well done. The crepes are bomb, btw.

Week 91 - Chilaquiles in Jacarandas

June 24, 2019

This week was pretty fast. I don't remember a ton of it, but we did have a few cool things happen.

Feliz Cumpleaños a Gabe

Monday after district meeting, the zone bought me a cake and sang me happy birthday. They pushed my face in the cake and everything. It was a really nice suprise. Elder Vázquez also invited us to a Domino´s Dominator pizza. We put candles in it and had a blast.

Week 90 - Feliz Cumpleaños a mí!

Eating crema and Marlin
This bug is for sale, but it's not an option for me.
This week was pretty solid. I've already told most of it in my video call home, but I'll let you know just a tad.

Tuesday we were in trio with Elder Vargas and we ate some Marlin(a delicacy here) and some crepes.

Week 89 - Conference with a Seventy!

June 10, 2019

This week was super cool. We've had quite a few little things happen. Nothing huge, but some cool little details.

Tuesday was the most boring day of the week. We had to go to the bus station to change all 40+ tickets that had been bought to go to and come from the conference that got cancelled. That took quite a long time and just killed my vibe for the rest of the day, because they treated us kinda poorly. But whatever,it takes to progress the work of the Lord, I guess.

Wednesday, they told us we would actually have the conference in Acapulco with Elder Pingree, and so we had to go back and get the tickets Thursday morning at 5:15. We left and had a great time with Elder Pingree. He didn't speak spanish before being assigned to be the 2nd counselor in the Area Presidency, and he was always asking for corrections and just wanted to be understood. He was so kind and Genuine. President Treviño says the Elder Pingree is the only person he personally knows that has all the attributes of Christ. It was cool, and after we had a little leadership conference and he helped us understand our role as leaders a lot more. It was all around really awesome. He even remembered that we saw him in Cuernavaca Centro about 7 months ago!

Week 88 - Rainy Days, Full of Praise

Water in the street this week
This week, it rained quite a bit. It rains practically every night here in chilpo. It's made it start feeling like a really nice, utah-like weather.

Me pinning Elder Bradshaw against the wall of a Combi,
even though there's plenty of space on the bench
we're sitting on. He wasn't very happy,
and I pretended not to notice, and didn't care.
It does rain a ton here, and floods the streets. And it might rain in one part of the city, but not the other. It's pretty strange. Working has been ok. We found quite a few people, but the majority weren't anything special. A lot of people will say things like "we need to make changes in our lifes and that is the only way we'll ever get blessings from God" and then when we invite them to make changes and get blessings from God, they say no. It was a decently frustrating week.

Ave, her husband, Valeria, Erick, and us.
On the bright side, we did have a little suprise. We've been teaching Elizabeth for a long time now, and the only thing she needs is to get married. She's scared of getting married because her husband has made some mistakes in his life, and she doesn't know if she can do it. But her husband was able to come to church this week! He said he really liked it and is excited to listen to us on tuesday.

Week 87 - Changes - 2pac ft Talent

All the missionaries who got transferred
SO this week were changes, again! It seems like these go by faster and faster. We found out we'd be losing two of our 3 great district leaders, and........Elder Bradshaw and I are staying for a 3rd change! We did NOT thnk that was going to happen, but President says he likes what we're doing here in Chilpo, so he's not gonna change us. Looks like we've got another fat minute together.

Breakfast with our neighbors
This week we had Gabino come to church again. He's progressing really well and we're hoping that he and his family start coming a lot closer to the Ward. We had a great first hour of church, because it was ward conference, and a terrible second hour, because instead of teaching about Christ or the Gospel, they talked about church policy in regards to Ward mission leaders, Elders quorum presidents and ward council. That was a very dificult thing to explain to our new guys that came.

On saturday, we had a rescue activity and went out with members to visit less active families who hadn't come for a while. I went with our ward mission leader, Hermano Ayala. He's a great member and a really good mission leader. we went and visited a lot of people, and it was really good to be with a member, because they just think of the gospel in such simple terms that when they invite people, the person just understands. I let him extend every invitation we did that day. Later, at the end of the activity, they bought KFC for everyone that came.

Week 86 - Our day with President!/Colitis

Picadas with President in our house
May 20, 2019

Chilpancingo must have been pretty wicked this week, because, despite our best efforts, we didn't have very much success with finding new people, and less with getting them to church. But, we did have two awesome people show up for church. One is named Elizabeth and she just needs to get married, but has problems with her boyfriend, for some reason he doesn't want to get married. The other is named Ave. Her daughter got baptized about 7 months ago, and today was her first time going to church since her daughter's confirmation. We finally got her to come! Our awesome ward mission leader and his family invited her to come and listen to and area sevanty and the YSA Choir. She finilly decided she would come!

Week 85 - Happy Mother's Day!

May 13, 2019

This week we found some really good people, but, it was not a super successful week. We had nobody come to church, but we worked hard this week.

The biggest thing about this week was that they closed Ocotito and the Elders from down there had to come up and be with us a few days. The ward was super excited to have four missionaries, and were pretty sad to find out that they were temporary. I went with Elder Ramirez from Veracruz.
Elder Ramirez

Week 84 - Happy Battle of the Puebla!

May 6, 2019

This week was really cool! We went on divisions with Elder Gillins for 4 hours and bought some chilate! Super good stuff, and he taught us a lot about the Law of Attraction and how we need to decide to be good misionaries, and it will happen.

Thursday we went on divisions with Paraíso, and I got to go to their area and work. We had lots of fun. Elder Vasquez is one of my favorite missionaries I know. We were in trio for a little bit, because we got followed by a dog for a long time.

Monday, April 29, 2019

Week 83 - Happy Birthday Elder Bradshaw!

This week was pretty cool but pretty hard at the same time.
With the trainee of my trainee, Elder Fullmer.  He is
from the Copper Hills area of West Jordan

Tuesday we had a multi-zone conference with the Iguala Zone and us, we gave a pretty good training about finding news and learning to baptize every week. President talked about how we first need a desire to baptize every week. Right when we finished the conference, the Assistants called us and told us there would be special changes, and that one of our best missionaries would be heading to acapulco, and we'd be getting some other missionaries. I got super stressed out about how we needed to do so much and there was no time to really think about it. We hardlly worked until wednesday night, and we planned for a great day the next day, with specific plans and great energy.

the next day, I woke up with colitis again. I was sick until Sunday. We couldn't visit hardly anyone.

Sunday, we had one come to church, and we found two new people to teach. We had a really good day on sunday, in spite of the fact that we couldn't do anything all week. It was Elder Bradshaws Birthday, and he cooked a bacon and eggs breakfast. The landlady gave him some pingüinos and some sodas, too. Today we just bought some souvenirs, and took it easy. I don't want to get sick again this week.

Love you guys! Have a great week.

Week 82 - Meeting Goals

Hamburgers with Elder Riley,
Haun, and Suarez(taking the picture)
with Hna Yari.
Sorry for no email last week. I had a lot of other things pulling me away.

Last week we had Consejo de Liderazgo, for all the leaders. It was super fun, and the assistants gave a great training about how to contact more effectively, and president is making his goals very clear. They told us they want every area to find 6 new people in a week. Well, this week as a zone, we found 65 people(the current mission record for the year) and found 7.2 people per area. We're pretty proud of our zone for it, and I'm sure they're happy about it too. I see some great stuff going on here.

We taught two really great people this week. One was named erick, and he's completely agnostic(a pretty rare sight to see, someone who is openly agnostic) and we taught him about Joseph smith's first prayer, and how he could talk directly with God if he desired to.

Week 81 - Video Call

We didn't get email from Elder Scott this week, but we were able to enjoy an hour-long video call with him!  He had a training meeting with President and Sister Treviño.  I found this photo posted to their Facebook page.  Gabe is on the right, second to the top row.

Monday, April 8, 2019

Week 80 - Conference!

This week was stellar! We had a great time listening to conference, and learning what they would have us know. I loved everything that they said about the atonement and being a member missionary.

We had divisions in Cuernavaca with the assistants, and they really helped us learn how to focus our teaching on the needs of the people we're teaching, and being an instrument in God's Hands. It was super fun.

Monday, April 1, 2019

Week 79 - Double Divisions

Hey guys! this week was really cool! We went on divisions twice, with two different districts in our zone - the Insurgentes missionaries and the Paraíso missionaries.
Divisions with Elder Rodriguez

I got to go with my old companion on Thursday, and it was a super good time. He's got a little over a year now, and that's crazy. When he was with me, he barely had three months! We had a fun day in Insurgentes. We got a new  person in teaching with baptismal date, and it was super good. We talked about some difficulties they were having and we set some good goals with them. They're gonna be killing it out there.

On Saturday, I went on divisions in my area with Elder Rodriguez. He has 4 months in the mission, and suprised me with his maturity and power as he taught. We taught a guy named Gabino, and he's super spiritual. He practically understands the entire gospel of Christ without having the Book of Mormon. He says he studies by faith and by book. He really like the idea of the Book of Mormon.

Monday, March 25, 2019

Week 78 - Zone Conference and Chilpo Divisions

This week was super cool! We really had a great time.
The view of my area, Chilpancingo

On Tuesday, some members took us out for a Chinese Buffet. It was great food even though it wasn't super Chinese. Every dish had Jalapeños in it. Still makes for some good food either way.

Wednesday we had  divisions with Elder Riley in the Obrera Ward, and we went with a  lot of good members. Elder Bradshaw and I also gave a new district leader capacitation for the zone. Elder Riley is a DL here in Chilpancingo. He's a really powerful missionary, and he helped me out a lot that day. And we put someone new with baptismal date. It was super fun!
Chilpo Zone Conference with President Treviño

Friday we had interviews and we stayed in the church the whole day. President talked about the goals of the mission and how need to have faith to achieve them. I love having interviews, because president always has something great to say. right as he finished, he said he hadn't eaten, and since we hadn't either, he sent us for Hamburgers from Lidany´s, the great hamburger place in Centro.  It was super cool. He talked with us while we ate about how he left his job to be a mission president and how that came to pass. Cool stuff

Week 77 - Mazatlán (Not the famous one)

This week, Elder Bradshaw and I have really been working well. I feel like we're going to have lots of success in this area. We found quite a few people this week who are great, and are for sure going to progress. We have lots of faith in the timing of God, and that He'll help prepare the way for them. We should start seeing the fruits of our labors this week.

Week 76 - Guerrero

This week was awesome!! The Guerrero ward is super awesome! It's probably the biggest ward I've been a part of. It's super cool. There are a lot of really cool mambers that I've been able to meet and work with so far. I hope I'll be able to do everything they're hoping for.

Friday we had leadership council in Cuernavaca. We talked about how we can better work with the members and get references from them. Elder Pacheco and I had a big hand in making that capacitation, and it was cool to see how the Lord worked through the assistants and President  to make that exactly how we need it to be here in our mission. Something that president said that I liked was that when we recieve instruction, we shouldn't examine it to see if it's really worth our time, or to see if we really want to do it. We should just do it. The only question we should have is how to do it better. He already has the power of revelation. we just need to follow him.

Week 75 - Dos Bautismos

Un-fasting at Little Ceasar's.
Good stuff, but I'm gonna be real sick of it once I'm done.
That's right. Next week is changes. I'll know where I'm going next week. It's been super fun with Elder Pacheco. I'm gonna miss this dude. And Elder Jensen. He's really gonna be a great missionary.

I'm sure it's hard to be around two missionaries on the tail end when he's just starting. He's a champ.

Week 74 - God answers Prayers in very different ways

This week was really cool. Most of my week I was doing fine, but by Friday, I had gotten sick again. I have an appointment with the gastroenterologist tomorrow. I hope I get better soon. I HATE being sick for this long.

So we found out on Monday last week that we were going to be in trio with Elder Jensen. He has 4 months in the mission, and got pulled out of where he was because its was a little dangerous. We're going to finish his training and help him out with whatever he needs. He's a cool guy, and we'll get him speaking spanish in no time.
Elder Jensen, Pacheco and me in Zócalo

We had our multizone conference on wednesday, and we talked about the importance of the Holy Ghost when we teach, and being worthy of that spirit. I love hearing form President. He's a great speaker and he really cares about us.

Thursday, we had divisions with the Asistents. I went with Elder Maxwell and Elder Jensen here in Atzingo. We had some great lessons. Elder Maxwell teaches really well, and he has a lot to teach us. We had a great experience(see voice recording)

Week 73 - What a Sick Week!

With my trainer, RM Ortiz
What a sick week!

I say that, not because we have a lot of success, but because we both got super sick. It was soo rough. There is not a lot to do in the apartment for the companion who is not sick.  We only had two lessons the whole week because I couldn't leave the house. I think I got sick from some tacos I ate. My companion hates that because he loves tacos and I really am not a fan of them so much anymore. After all, they gave me a 7-day stomach infection.

We did find two new people last week named Arturo and Eusenia. Arturo has cancer, and they want to know more. Lets hope for the best.

Monday was awesome! We played sports again, and it felt really good. We haven't had that much sport fun on p-day for a long time. And Fernando Ortiz came down from California to visit us. He's here for vacation and stopped by to hang out with us. It was good to see my first trainer again!

That's all I've got. Being really bored this week, I thought of Ether, who lived in a cavity of a rock for years without having anything to do. It makes it a little easier for me, who only had nothing to do for a week. The scriptures really teach you sympathy.

Week 72 - Sick Week

Not our best week here in Atzingo. Elder Pacheco and I got sick on Wednesday, and that's how the whole week went. I was throwing up on wednesday, my companion Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It was a slow week. But on tuesday we had a great meeting with our Stake President, President Munguía. Great guy.

We had two new people in church on Sunday, and they both really liked it. We had few problems with our People we're teaching, mainly because we couldn't visit them this week at all. Bette luck next week.

Today is changes, and It looks like Elder Pacheco and I are staying together for another 6 weeks. I haven't had this much time with a companion since June. I'm really excited to work the}is week. I think we're going to have a lot of success coming soon.

Last Night we hung out with a few missionaries who are up here to train a new missionary, and that was really fun. Most of them had a lot less time than me, and it was weird to think that I won't be seeing these missionaries at the height of their missions. I'll be home then. Weird thought.

Sorry I have not pictures or Voice recordings. I am completely technologyless. I'll try to remember to get those to you guys next week. Sorry

I really like getting to meet the new missionaries like we did today. They're just starting, an they're so full of light. This mission is getting tons of new great missionaries!

Have a great week!
