So we've been doing a lot of traveling between towns this week. All of those are towns in my area.
Elder Maxwell and I at our last multi-zone |
This tuesday was our Multizone, my last multizone, and it was really good. I'm really going to miss all of the missionaries I've met here. We got a lot of good pictures before I left. Sadly, it's a two hour bus ride from my area to the stake center in CIVAC where we had the meeting. Needless to say, we did nothing else that day.
wednesday we did a baptismal interview in Jojutla, in Tlaquiltenango. He seemed super ready to get batpized, but this saturday was his baptism and he didn't go. I hope that guys can get his stuff together.
In Tlaqui |
We're teaching a girl named Samantha who was born in Michigan. She's 19, but she lives with her parents here in Zaca. Her aunt is a very active member of the ward, and part of one of my favorite families. After 3 weeks, we got her to come to church. Her gramma was really upset that she was going to the church with the "jóvenes guapetones" but she told her to accept Jesus and never leave whichever church she goes to. It was interesting. She really liked church too! She should be baptized on the 21st of september.
We also recieved a reference from Iguala. Her name is Angela and she really liked church, as did her daughter. They have TONS of really good questions and I know they'll get baptized. I just hope that it's while I'm here.
Things are good here. Still loving it. The church is true, and I love seeing that you guys do come follow me. Keep it up!
~Elder Scott
