Week 65 - Rain Week

There's a big cold front hitting the mission this week, so it has been raining pretty hard and my companion got a little sick. We couldn't do a ton of stuff this week, but we did okay.
Mission injury

Our investigator Karla passed her baptismal interview, so she should be ready to get baptized on Saturday. She might have a few problems, but we'll work through it.

We had stake conference yesterday, for the Cuernavaca Stake. I've been to every single stake conference in this stake since I got here. It was really good.

We heard from an area seventy and from President Treviño. President Treviño talked about how important members are to missionary work, and how it's essential that members preach the gospel to their friends and people who are important to them. "If you have friends who aren't members of the Church, invite them because you love them, and they are important to you, and you want the best for them.
Elder Schmitz did some surgery on his arm.

This week is changes. I'll have a new companion next week, and President Treviño has been making a lot of jokes about it. We'll see how that goes. Elder Schmitz has been counting down the days to get back to Colorado. He's pumped to be home for christmas.

The 14th of December we're going to have a huge Christmas Party with the whole mission in Cuernavaca, and guess who's the zone leader of that zone? There's a lot of stuff to do for all that. Luckily, a lot of the work got put on the backs of the assistants.
