This week with Elder Schmitz has been super fun. We got money for the food on tuesay so we grilled hambergers on our makeshift grill. We got talking about metal and decided to copper plate an oil vial we found. you can see the results in the picture below.
My area is called Atzingo. I'm in the north part of Cuernavaca this time, and It's definitely a lot colder. i can finally start using that jacket I bought. Our area has a lot of hills, and is pretty small actually. We have a lot of area we can't even use. We stick to the same streets pertty often. Luckily, i have come to this area 3 or four times for divisions with the Zone Leaders, so a lot of people know me already. It's been pretty cool seeing people that I had taught in divisions that are now members of the church. I think I'll like this ward. It's also the only building in the mission with a real organ!
This week, we had Leadership council with president, and he's changing a few things about how we do the mission. He's asked that we don't use google hangouts chats anymore, and that we don't get together in super big groups on P-days. Sorry but the chats and zone pics are probably gone for a bit.
Today for p-day we went and ate wings with our District Leader and the assistants. While we waited for the ap's to meet up with us in the Zócalo in centro, we went to the market there, and we met Elder Pingree. He's the Second counselor in the Area Presidency of México. He and his wife were so sweet, and they invited us to tacos. We said we already had plans to go eat, so they gaveus money instead. We got a picture with him and his wife in front of the Market.
I've had a good week. Trying really hard to get better, be more obedient. We had interviews with President Treviño, and he told me he trusts me a lot. I'm just doing my best not to let him down.
Have a great week.
