Selfie with President and Hermana Ávila, (and their son Sami) in the hospital with us. |
This week was really whatever. We have an investigator named rosendo, and we've ben working so hard with him, and he just doesn't put in his part, and he doesn't come to church and cancels lessons at the last second. Its frustrating, especially because he wants us to invite members and everything, and so members just chill with us in the chapel until he cancels on us, but he's so ready and eager to hear us. It's really a struggle to figure out what we want to do with him.

Me in pain and sick wednesday night before we went to the hospital |
I went to the hosptial
on wednesday. I was in a lot of pain in my lower back, and there was nothing I could do to make it any better. it was the most pain I've ever felt before. Elder Rivas called Pdte Ávila and he came and took us to the Hospital. I thought I had a kidney problem because we get a lot of soda here. It turns out I got a UTI this week. If you don't know what that is, ask your parents. It's not very fun. We've been working through all that this week. Sometimes it hurts and I need to sleep. But other times it's fine. But don't worry. It's all good in the hood.
On sunday, we passed by all our invextigators, and everyone said they'd come to church, and that they were getting ready. And well, no one came again. Better luck next time champ.
Cool little thing. A member from here in Burgos named André Aguirre got called to Argentina Buenos Aires south, and he left about a month ago. I told him I had a friend in that mission named Jake Roper. Well, I got an email today from jake saying that he's TRAINING Elder Aguirre. How Awesome is that? Just a cool little note from God Sayiing he knows us and loves us. Good luck training that kid Elder Roper. He's a wild one.
