Week 54 - Training, training, training!

Mexican Independence Day
So Elder Madueño went off to Iguala to go be a Zone Leader, And on Monday,I went up to Cuernavaca to go get my new trainee. His name is Elder Zetten. He's from Guatemala. We're going to be in Atoyac until December (probably) and we're pretty excited. I'm going to have almost a year with straight latino companions!

My new trainee, Elder Zetten

This week, Elder Pino from the area presidency came and talked with us. He gave a great capacitation on how we can be better missionaries, and have more pride in the Mission. And how we're called to serve with our mission president. If he was called to another mission, we would have been too. It was really cool.

Goodbye to my former companion,
Elder Contreras!
I also got to say goodbye to Elder Contreras this week, as he finished his mission. Good luck at home buddy!

It was mexican independance day on sunday, and we got some good pictures while I was on divisions with Elder Hughes (Who also finished today)

We had a baptism on Thursday. The Hermano Guadalupe was very content with it, bore his testimony about how he's not perfect, but he's excited to start learning and growing in the gospel.

That about it. Sorry I didn't have much time this week. We had to go to immigration in Cuernavaca and didn't get to acapulco until 6. We didn't have much time to do anything else.
A picture I took with Elder Gillins so he could
get a picture with Hermanas without being alone

Me with some of the other trainers this transfer

HAve a good week. -Elder Scott
