Week 71 - Poco a poco, Lentamente

This week was super cool. We found a new guy named Arturo. His wife has been a member for more than 30 years, but they lived in a little, tiny town in Oaxaca for a long time, and so he's never heard hardly anything about the Church. We're on it.

Friday, we had a special interview with president, where he talked to us about a few really important things he's changing in our zone, and in the mission. He talked to us about how to use the Book of Mormon, and how we need to have a stronger light than others, so they have the desire to have what we do. It was one of the coolest experiences I've had here in the mission.

Saturday, we had divisions with the APs and had a great time there. I went with Elder Gillins to Palmas. Elder Gillins was in my MTC group, and was companions with Elder Winegar. We had some good lessons with some of the members and we were given Pozole (a Spanish soup that's pretty good) We had a great time and really felt guided by the Lord.

Sunday we had eight people who were for sure coming to church. But no one came. What can ya do I guess.

Today we went and played Ping Pong with a member in Palmas, and they suprised us with Hot Dogs and Hamburgers. We played osme games with their kids and had a great time.

Time flies so fast. I feel like we're barely starting this transfer and its already over. I hope I get to stay here with Elder Pacheco for another change. It's gonna be awesome.

I really liked two-hour church. Our ward just needs to do it right. in the word of the famous Juan Gabriel, "Poco a poco, Lentamente" We'll get there...

Have a great week! Read Come, Follow Me. It's a great resource for studying
